The publisher is overstocked on issues 73-90 (except 77), published between Summer 1995 and Autmun 2000, and has generously agreed to make copies of these issues available for the advancement of American Go. The American Go Foundation has organized this special offer to put these valuable magazines in the hands of people who will appreciate them. These seventeen back issues are now available for just $1/issue (ten issue minimum) plus $3 shipping and handling -- just $20 for the entire 1100 page set, or less than $.02 per page. Any income remaining after costs are covered will be split between the AGA and the AGF.
For more than thirty years, Kiseido's Go World quarterly has earned a reputation for thorough, top-flight coverage of the world Go scene. Less noted, but perhaps even more important is the wealth of instructional material for kyu-level players. One 24-part series, "The Great Joseki Debate" was later published as a book. Now out of print, the book itself sells for $35 or more when available. Click here to download the special order form. Just fill it out and fax/mail with credit card info/check.

Go World is essentially the product of two men -- publisher Richard Bozulich, and especially editor John Power, who has more or less singlehandedly translated, edited and organized the material for 116 issues (as of February 2009), nearly 7500 page of important material for every aspiring English-speaking player, a monumental achievement that is both historic and timeless. Power also compiled, edited and translated Invincible: The Games of Shusaku.
